says This was a custom order for a person with a
small family. When I was thinking about what symbols and types
of drawing meant family to me, I realized that the symbol
for family is really very simple: two adults and a child,
holding hands. And I realized that it could be expressed with
very simple lines. Do they look like they're on the beach
to you? Me too, but I didn't try to do that and I don't know
why it looks that way. (Aren't you supposed to be off the
beach by dusk anyway?) The front and back of the bag are both
pictured here.
Feedback
from the person who ordered the bag I absolutely
love my 'Sage original' crocheted bag, and so does my 3-year-old.
I consider it wearable art, and I know noone else will have
anything even remotely like it. My mom asked me if the irony
of the situation had escaped me - that I had ordered a beautiful,
hand made bag from a young woman who lives in a yurt VIA THE
INTERNET!!! Believe me, it has not, but I think that's what
makes it so very cool.
